A Place for 6th-12th Graders
Join us the 2nd & 4th Sundays of each month, Noon – 2:00 p.m., for fun and fellowship in the youth room!
The youth of Main Street (grades 6 through 12) are invited to be in fellowship and ministry with each other and the surrounding community. Our Youth Ministries aim to cultivate Christian disciples who continue their discipleship into adulthood. Youth Events & Opportunities
Youth Group
Youth in grades 6 – 12 gather two Sundays a month, noon – 2:00pm from September through May. The weekly meetings offer opportunities for Bible Study, fellowship, and service. In addition to Sunday evening gatherings the UMYF offers special dinners, retreats, local mission work and summer youth mission trips.
Confirmation Class
This year we will offer confirmation classes for youth who have not yet been confirmed (sixth grade and above). Youth learn what it means to be a Christian disciple and discern whether they are ready to make that commitment by joining the church. It is an active learning experience that includes an outreach project, speakers and interaction with mentors and parents as part of a comprehensive time of faith exploration.
