Director of Community Outreach and Children and Youth Discipleship

Main Street United Methodist Church (MSUMC) in Suffolk, Virginia is seeking a person who feels called to serve as the Director of Community Outreach and Children and Youth Discipleship. The Director is responsible for creating a safe and affirming environment for youth and connecting children and their families to MSUMC. The director will engage them in the life of the congregation for the purpose of following the example of Jesus Christ. The Director will also connect MSUMC with the world through emphasis on community outreach. The Director will serve as a crucial member of our team-oriented staff where mutual support and collaboration are highly valued.

This is a full-time position with benefits consistent with the Virginia Conference of United Methodist Church.
