2016 Stewardship Theme

With a new calendar year comes the opportunity to re-evaluate and re-focus our ministry efforts here at Main St UMC, and after careful consideration the Stewardship Team has chosen to adapt the new denominational vision statement released by the United Methodist Church as our own congregational theme for 2026.

Quarterly Fellowship Dinner

January 21, 6:00pm

It’s time again for our quarterly fellowship dinner, and this time we will be focusing specifically on ways to connect with our neighborhoods as individuals and as a congregation. Brian and Kristy McCormally will be out first speakers as we discuss sharing God in our neighborhoods. To register for this dinner, click here or visit the welcome desk on Sunday mornings. Community Prayer Service

January 25, 4:00-5:00

Main Street United Methodist Church - in partnership with Suffolk Clergy United - will be hosting an ecumenical prayer service to celebrate the 2026 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. All are welcome to join and lift each other in prayer! Contact Rev Rich Meiser for info at gro.cmuav@resiemhcir

SUNDAY MORNINGS

We gather every Sunday at 8:30 and 11:00 am to worship God. The morning service is held in the Sanctuary that is filled with light coming through 14 breathtaking stained glass windows. Our services are traditional, with a progressive, modern feel.
