Although we are one of the oldest churches in Suffolk (founded in 1801), we are also a church that is vibrant, alive and new. Located in a beautiful gothic structure in downtown Suffolk, our congregation come from all walks of life, from young to old, newcomers to life-long members.
We gather every Sunday for fellowship and to worship God. Our two morning services are held in our 100 year old sanctuary filled with light by our beautiful stained glass windows. Our services are traditional, but with a progressive, modern feel.
At Main Street, we have a 'heart for mission'. Our church participates in both local and global missions, from feeding the underprivileged in Suffolk to packaging meals to fight world hunger. Our church supported over 15 mission initiatives last year alone.
We are a strong believer in small group participation. Small groups help grow faith, develop meaningful relationships, and build a strong community within our church. Small group opportunities are available for men and women of all ages.
At Main Street, we strive to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We hope you'll find your church home with us.
